Still going!

Ok, so we’ve passed the 10 day mark. I’m working on a few longer posts that should be up this weekend. I haven’t abandoned it all yet!

It’s 31C here today so I’ll be writing outside on the patio with a nice bottle of Mothership Wit organic beer. My pairing? Locally raised, slaughtered and butchered boneless chuck blade steak, Idaho baked potato and a medley farmer’s fresh onion, garlic, tomato, green and red bell peppers. There are advantages to the Pacific Northwest, abundance of fresh produce is one of them.

Unexpected Guests

When I arrived at the airport this morning I had no idea that Colonel Sanders was also taking my flight. Perhaps he was doing advanced recon to bring the glory of the double down to Canada? Only time will tell.

Jerks at the Airport Bar

Seriously, if you want to take up all kinds of extra space then get a table. Don’t be an asshat and take up two spots at the bar. That extra spot is for those of us who have two hour delayed flights and need a stiff drink to deal with Air Canada.

Lots of New Things

So it’s been a while, Bucksplace. It’s been too long. I just nuked the old site, which had a note from 2007 about getting married as it’s last real post. Scary. In less than two months (six weeks if you ask the Princess) we’ll be celebrating our three year anniversary. So much has changed since then. It goes to show how quickly our lives re-organize themselves.
